really great place to visit in Minneapolis. The atmosphere is great and they have nightly live music. Usually the jazz and blues are awesome. Really good place to take a date.

Love it, especially on friday and saturday nights, for there late night set.

This is my fav place to go to to here good music like big bands and jazz and has a great romantic feeling and hey u might just go home and make a kid like I did lol

Now THIS is a JAZZ club, initimate setting, pure romance and absolute jazz. Make a reservation!! We made a reservation and I saw the manager turn away approx 25 people because the jazz club & restaurant was at full capacity for a performance from Nachito Herrara. We sat right next to stage and were able to listen to his beautiful music, while enjoying great wine and even better food. I will absolutely be going again, and if you are a fan of jazz or just interested in live music make a reservation and go to Dakota Jazz!!

I was so impressed by the food. I was particullarly amazed by the quality of the fish dishes. The trout in puff pastry appitizer and the marlin in particular were quite literally the best fish dishes I have ever eaten. The jazz of Clay Moore was great and will be sadly missed as he has moved on. The martini I had was also perfect and the dessert of the blueberry and mango crepes was fantastic. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The only problem with the Ambiance is the large curtain that seperates the stage area and the fine dining area, but minor at worst. The service was also great. A marvelous place that I cannot recommend it enough.

A real treasure for hearing marquee legends of Jazz in a terrificly intimate club setting. Food is always excellent even if the menu is slightly selective. Check out the daily specials for variety. If you enjoy fabulous musical talents, you'll like this place!
