Dakota Jazz Club & Restaurant
Description
Entering its third decade, the Dakota has long been a favorite of jazz legends as well as patrons who savor the best of both art forms, the virtuosity of kitchen and bandstand. You can eat in the dining room and enjoy music second-hand from the adjacent club room; but you can also enjoy the music in the intimate club while making selections from either the bar or dining room menuthe best of both worlds. Patrons must note that online reservations through OpenTable apply to the dining room only. For show information and club reservations please call.
Nothing too special about the decor; it's a jazz club and looks like a typical jazz club. The food is pretty spectacular, as is the wine list. The chef does a good job of rotating menu items.
Great music, great atmosphere, great service. Definitely worth checking out when you see an artist you like playing there. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house.
Another one of the Top 5 best in town. Jack Reibel is a great chef, and the fact that you can get such great fare in a jazz club makes for a great combo.
Surprisingly great food for a jazz club. I always come early for a show to enjoy the inventive and tasty meals. Not cheap, but makes for a very satisfying nite out.
