Rainbow Chinese Restaurant & Bar
This is possibly the finest Chinese restaurant in the Twin Cities. Family-owned and run, the Rainbow boasts time-tested recipes and a rich interior. Seafood is one of the specialties of the house, but the place does a lot for vegetarians, too. Pan-fried vegetable dumplings make the perfect appetizer. Start off with one of the many noodle soups or cashew salad. Duckling or beef with mustard greens, sliced chicken with peapods, water chestnuts and baby carrots and tempura-style prawns with broccoli and red curry sauce are highlights of a diverse and delectable menu. The Rainbow offers a full bar.
Rainbow Chinese is awesome. They have some very interesting cocktails, a great atmosphere and Tammy is the best. So are the Szechuan wontons, the tofu cilantro salad and a whole bunch of other dishes. Go Eat Street!
I love its Seafood Egg Noodle Soup. It makes me remember the noodle soup that i used to eat in Vietnam. Although i don't have to wait in line, it takes time to cook. So whenever i want to eat i have to call and order ahead. I used to bring my friend there and eat that bowl. I can't find any places having this soup, so I'm willing to come back there for another bowl. But its price is kinda higher than other noodle soup in other restaurants
