Grab a stool by the fireplace in the downstairs of this British pub oasis or visit the balcony poolroom. If people-watching is your bag, the window tables offer some of the best gazing in town on Nicollet Mall. As soon as the first hint of spring hits, the patio tables offer an even better view. If you are lucky, you might catch a bit of Musicfest being played outdoors at Orchestra Hall across the street. Lots of paneling, a beautiful old-world bar, and the World Cup on the telly make this feel like a bit of London Towne. The menu features a fine selection of British ales and lagers, burgers, sandwiches and, of course, fish and chips.
Excellent food and great beer. I've never been to Britain, but I've been told this place is the closest thing. This place really gets into the football games. If there's not a big game on the television, the environment is conversation friendly.
I love Brit's Pub! The place offers something for everyone: the beer and football enthusiast, the food critic, the romantic person, the loud company, the intellectual.
The staff is friendly beyond belief; the owners and management feel like family.
The Pub runs a monthly Pub Quiz, which is fantastic.
Great Fish and Chips, lengthy beer and stout list, wonderful ambiance, my co-worker who has been to Europe several times commented on the authenticity of the English Pub decor. The flags add a nice touch as well. Try the creamy tomato soup for starters.
I've been going to Brit's Pub for three years now, since a friend introduced me to it. It has a very warm, cozy atmopshere, which is excellent to feel, especially during the Winter months. When you walk through the door, you'll feel like you've been teleported from Minneapolis to London in a mere instant.
Brit's Pub has an excellent selection of food and drink. I highly recommend the Tandoori Chicken sandwich, slices of Indian seasoned chicken stuffed into a warm, chewy pita with a side of sweet cucumber dressing sauce. It comes with fries and Brit's has the best fries, or chips, big steak fries that are just too delicious. They have a wide variety of foods to try, like Bangers and Mash, which is excellent, sandwiches, dinners, specials, and a excellent selection of drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic.
Prices at Brit's are fair, you get what you pay for, and with I usually get, I can get my food and a drink for a total for fifteen bucks, which is reasonable. They have both indoor and outdoor seating during the Summer, both of which are very nice. Brit's is also a great place to bring a large group for they can accomodate a good crowd and make them all feel right at home.
Check this place out, I highly recommend it!
The food at Brit's Pub is always good and is different from your main sandwich shops. I love the variety.
The service is also good, the waiters and waitresses are fun and really work hard in the summer time.
The ambiance is the best, I believe. Its so enjoyable to sit outside in the summer, listening to the outdoor music, enjoying the weather (on rare occasion) and the different spin on lunch.
The value is great. I think the food is fun and different, the service is good, the ambiance awesome- all well worth the money.
