I generally receive good service from this McDonalds. I lived in California for a long time, and I can honestly say that the food prepared at this location is somehow much better. They burgers are usually put together well, and the fries are hot most of the time. However, I have had some rude experiences with the drive-thru attendant. He seems more interested in trying to hold some authority over me instead of serve me, which is his job. That is all.
Service is poor I waited in line behind 2 people for 20 minutes, 3 people were waiting on drive through customers, 2 people were cooking and the manager was standing in the back of the room just watching not helping and the young must have been only 16 or 17 year old kid was left to do the front counter and the ice cream by himself. I was very dissatisfied with the service I received and it was like that all three times I visited it over a period of two days. Just wish the owners could see what takes place when they are not there, maybe on my next visit to Ketchikan this month I can film it and send to them.
as a patron of the mcdonalds in ketchikan more times than i can count when going through drive thru we are given poor service, slow service, and as for the friendliness you can not understand the employees because they cannot speak english. when getting food inside your first impression is that there are no workers there just wanders. no one waits on you unless you make yourself known to them. then it is an inconveince to them.
the food is usually old and you have to have it remade because they don't do it right the first time. the people in charge are very unproffesional, and cannot understand what it is that you want, one of the early morning women usually just walks away and an employee has to figure out what it is that we would like, or she starts yelling at the employees in her language and you don't know what it is that she is saying which is very unproffesional. I just thought that the owner might like to know just what kind of business that he is running, and that it is not only myself and family but plenty of people that you talk to every day say the same things. thank you for readiing this and i hope that it may help get some better service from your employees mostly the ones that are incharge.
