I have heard rave reviews from the people all around town. I went to check it out on 3 occassions, but have not been impressed any of the times. It is nice to sit by a warm fire on a cold day, but the menu is lacking in variety, there are few healthy choices and everything is a'la carte. It is not terrible food, it just does not do anything for me. I would rather dine at McDonalds, honestly.

The few times I've been to this great little place the service was a bit slow but the servers had great charisma and personality and were very friendly. The whole place is rather small and cozy so if you're hoping for some privacy you should find some place else. Dinning on the deck during the summer was the best, watching the boats come and go and watching the sunset, very romantic and well worth the little bit of chill that came up after the sun went down. The food is some of the best on the island. I've had 2 different salads and they both were excellent with a taste of the southwest and a great dressing that totally made the salad worth every bite. The second is a steak salad with blue cheese and a great raspberry vinaigrette dressing that was a great blend of spicy and tangy. I've also had the Halibut and chips and it was some of the best deep fried fish I've ever had, nice and moist but not to moist, the batter was seasoned just so and the fries had a beer batter that was the best. I'm not sure if the tarter sauce was homemade or not but it also was very yummy and full of dill with just the right amount of pickles. The wine and beer selection was adequate for the food they serve but if you want anything unusual or special you won't find it here. The meal was priced appropriately for a decent place to eat here on the island, but keep in mind that you will pay more if you have any kind of alcoholic drinks. Over all I love this little place and will go back again and again.
