Cape Fox Lodge, Ketchikan

One of my favorite spots in ketchikan. Great food and when the chef improvises and makes a special dish in the kitchen, watch out! It is spectacular! I highly recommend the salads here and guests visiting have LOVED the seafood fettucine. There is a great selection of various foods for all palates. The ambience is quiet and peaceful and the view is pretty from the dining area. What I do not like is the smoke from the bar/lounge area. There have been times I have walked out of there smelling like an ash tray because the guy next to me lit up one after another. Overall, I recommend it. It is a little more pricey than some other restaurants in town, but the food is delicious and the comfort level is great---especially when they have the fire lit. :)

This hotel is incredible. Staff is very helpful and friendly. A true Alaskan feeling and ambiance. This hotel has an over view of Ketchikan that is breath taking! The dining room has a wonderful menu and service is great. The sky car elevator will take you quickly to the shops and lower level streets of Ketchikan. This is a definite hotel for all travelers.

The Dining Room really is the "Heen Kahidi Dining Room" (translated to: "The House on the Creek". But the hours in the summertime are limited. To make guests' experience more enjoyable is to actually have time to enjoy a late night dinner at the dining room! Everything else is flawless, except for the short dining room hours. But other than that, Cape Fox Lodge in Ketchikan is one of the best hotels to stay at during your vacation getaway to Alaska!
