Annabelle's Keg & Chowderhouse, Ketchikan

If you haven't yet, ask for Dan's Special Sauce. A creation of a drunken night among coworkers (off duty I imagine) it was a great dip for fries and my sandwich. The atmosphere is one of the best in Ketchikan; it has a classic old times look. Service was excellent.

I enjoyed the crab mac and cheese and hubby loved his smoked salmon chowder. The prices were high, as seems typical in Alaska. The hostess and waiter were very friendly and willing to talk about life in Alaska with two curious tourists like ourselves. Worth a stop but expect to drop about $15 per person for lunch at least. Comes recommended by the locals.

Great food....wonderful ambience.....pretty reasonably priced. Most certainly better for dinner than lunch and I recommend the salmon fettucine and the peanut butter pie, although I have yet to order something i did not love.

DELICIOUS FOOD! Best smoked salmon chowder I have ever eaten and I have lived in Alaska over 40 years! Beautfiul dining room and bar. It's located right downtown Ketchikan! Both the restaurant and adjacent pub are in an interesting and authentic feeling heritage building. The Gilmore Hotel is in the same building. Service is prompt and staff is friendly and knowledgeable of our "1st City"!! Enjoy!!

FOOD WAS FANTASTIC AND SERVICE WAS JUST AS GOOD. THE SETTING WAS PERFECT FOR A NICE QUIET MEAL. IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE OVERALL.
