It is no longer open. We used to love it but after it changed owners, we had such terrible service, the time it took to get food was UNBELIEVABLE we actually walked out after waiting an hour. Now it is closed... I wonder if there are plans to open under new owners yet again, who knows...
Changed owners it used to be one of our favorites in the Valley: We used to love the food! The service especially in the summer is sometimes slow, however with the new owners the hamburgers were burnt, the foods smaller and higher priced.
I could not believe how slow the service was, how unprofessional the wait staff was, and how mediocre the food was. I would never recommend them for anything other than the apple beer that they do a good job with. Unfortunately it isn't enough to make me want to go back ever!!!! I wish their apple beer was available somewhere else. You use to be able to get it at the Avalanche hockey games, but no more. It has been 2 years since I have eaten there.
The waiteresses care more about how they look than the service they provide. The food is not, in my opinion, any good at all. It is very expensive. We received such poor serivce, with 4 kids, we tipped spareingly. She made a scene and vocalized it at the front door!!! They don't seem to care about their customer's experienc.

Now...on to the beer. Its one of the few microbrews in Alaska and they do it right. Fresh beer is the only way to go. Try the Valley Trash. Ask a local what the name means.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the menu is extensive for each meal. Try the true Alaskan fare (reindeer sausages) for
breakfast; or the more traditional seafood benedict, omelets or pancakes. Lunch offers a Philly Steak Sandwich, Pasta Primavera, New ...
