I really didn't think I would care for Chepo's but I'll go there again. I think it is better than Garcia's but the person I was with disagreed.
The decor is better than Garcia's and it is smaller. You don't feel like you are at a big family feeding frenzy. It is also less expensive than Garcia's.
Personally I think it is a better value than Garcia's.
I love this restaurant! In my opinion it is better than Garcia's. The prices are great too. They always do something special for the kids as well. On Cinco de Mayo, the children got pinatas and today all the kids were getting balloons. I gave Chepos four stars because it does not compare to my fav mexican restaurant in another state, but it is my favorite around here.
Wonderful service, good food, reasonable prices. I had the chicken enchiladas and my boyfriend had the Queen Tostada, which amounts to a big taco salad. We each had iced tea and a margarita. The tostada was very good. The iced tea was a bit weak, but still good. The margarita was wonderful. Served in a real margarita glass, not a mug or a regular glass. My chicken enchiladas were good, the rice and beans great. The staff was present, attentive, extremely pleasant, not intrusive in the least, and everything was clean and pleasant. I would definitely go back, and will, maybe this morning for breakfast. Highly recommend this place!
