I think the Apollo is by far one of the finest eating establishments in the Tri-Cities. They recently remodeled the outside and it looks amazing. The service is excellent if you go at night, not so much the lunch staff. The lunch srevers are usually grumpy. Dinner has a much more relaxing atmosphere and the servers are excellent at night..The food is '' to die '' for!!!! My favorite is the Greek combo...WOW!!!!! Lamb chops with spanakopita, greek spaghetti, and dolmas.. YUM!!! My husband and I eat there on a weekly basis and it's by far our favorite in the Tri-Cities.. Give it a try!
Another Richland Restaurant with a desperate need for a decor change, but the food is very good. I was quite disappointed with the fact they use frozen items for appetisers, like the calamari rings, but other menu items are wonderful! Make sure to have a glass of Retsina with your meal!
Many years ago, when the Apollo first opened, one of the owners answered an add for some stereo equipment I was selling in the local paper. He offered me $25 less than what I was asking for plus a full Greek dinner for two-I accepted and have been going back every since. The Greek spaghetti and calazones are incredible. The Apollo also has a great wine selection and the most beautiful servers in town ;) My only gripe is that it is a little spendy, but its justifiable, because it is a small building and not capable of handeling a larger volume of guests that would support lower prices.
