The food is delicious and the drinks are pretty good. My family and I had a bad experience with a waitress, she seemed kinda racist. She tried to ignore us as much as possible. She stepped on my dad's jacket that had fallen on the floor. She wouldn't even give us any pepper from the pepper grinder but she was offering another table right next to us with pepper. She was just plain snooty. That was the worst customer service I had ever experienced in my life. I had only experienced this once at glacier brewhouse. This place does seem kinda awkward for me to eat in at times because I am an Alaskan Native. Whenever I walk in with my family I always recieve snide looks and I feel a wierd uncomfortable vibe. I do love the food here but the customer service is kinda iffy.

The food is amazing everything i've tried is Delicious and Alaskan. The handcrafted beer are always so good, we would of loved more but our server with huge earrings just never came back and kept us waiting so we ended up drinking at Humpys. The dinner service is much better. Our server put her thumb in my chowder and i couldn't eat it. something about the lunch service went way downhill since the last time we visited anchorage. if you want the best experience go at night and make sure your server's name is not shaniqua or shanel or whatever it was because you won't get all the yummy beer you want, but you will get fingers in your food and be insulted by her lack of intelligence in human interaction.

I forget how much fun we have a t this place. Get the sitter and head out to Glacier Brewhouse. The King Crabs are the specialty here and super fresh. The beer isn't bad either.

We went to the Brewhouse for an early dinner. took a pager next door to and shopped for 10 minutes or so. Nice atmosphere, good wait staff, food was above average but not the best i've had for the price. Not a lot on the menu to choose from- my son had a hard time finding anything he wanted and settled for CAYJUN pasta! overall, nice place but there are better- like Humpy's.

I went here for drinks, and wanted something munch on, so I ordered the french fries- can't mess up fries, right? WRONG! These were the worst ever. They tasted like they'd been sitting out all day, then stuck in the microwave too long. Chewy and gross. AND, when I told the waitress htey weren't good, she just kinda shrugged and said I don;t know why they wouldn't be good"... no help at all. Didn't offer something else, or to take it off my tab. Drinks were ok, prices weren't the greatest

I just returned from the worst lunch experience that I have had in recent years at this restaurant. The party that I was with had to wait one hour from the time of order taking to serving. We did not get soup and salads until the main course was served, the drinks were not correct, and in my case, my Caribbean chicken salad did not arrive until everyone else was almost finished eating and I had to have it boxed up. When I opened the box after getting back to work, the chicken was raw in the middle and the salad was inedible. I had to throw it away. I have eaten many times at the Glacier Brewhouse over the years but after this experience I will NEVER come back. None of my party will either. This restaurant sucks.

The food, the beer...where to start. Service was excellent! The waitor offered great advise when my husband and I couldn't decide what to get. The best salmon and prime rib we've ever had. He also went out of his way after he found out we liked the IPA to get us a tasting of the rarely offered double IPA they keep in small quantity in the brewery storage. This place is a must stop for anyone in the area.

Great Heffeweisen! Good food. Their fries are some of the best ever and their pizzas are fantastic too.

Atmosphere is great, but food is overrated. You can tell the chefs aren't experts and instead follow recipes instead of having the expert touch. Don't get me wrong, the food is always ok, but it definitely isn't worth the price. Actually, I did have a couple horrible experiences with the food--the hamburger was gross (they way tried to overdo it), and the halibut was the same, and it had a green outer crust...yuck!! Nonetheless, there aren't a whole lot of places to choose from in Anchorage, which is why people must think so highly of it. Sure I'd go back but only 'cause there's not many other places to go that offer a great atmosphere and ok food.
