Very difficult to get a reservation, although the food is good, dining @ 9:30 PM is not. The view is beautiful but only if you are lucky enough to get a window seat. The person taking reservations was very short
If you like spending alittle money on some realy good food. check out Simon and Seaforts in down town Anchorage. And if you make it there, try the seafood and their specialty drink the Mojito. (mohitose). made of rum and other mixes, its great.
You won’t be disappointed with this resturant. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful if you ask questions about the dinner selections. The food is superb and the drinks are to die for (try the Chai Martini). If you are looking for an amazing culinary experience while in Anchorage don’t miss this!
Although the view is always nice I feel consistently that the caliber of this restaurant has gone down. Last time I was there the wine glass that I was drinking off was so dirty that it stuck to my hand, ordered appetizers that were bland and overpriced, my friend had the scratch margarita that they used to be known for, but they have stopped serving it in the shakers and it is not the same, overall the restaurant feels tierd and dirty
this place is delish !! they are a bit pricy, but the meal is very worth it. if you order the crab legs, they are opened for you. their appetizers are very yummy as well. the servers are very courteous and helpful.

The Teryiaki Tenderloin is amazing!!!!
The King Crab - they had a special fresh legs in and they were OUT OF THIS WORLD - Best by far I'd had in Alaska.
Fun time - Neat interior even though it seems to be in an office building from the outside. The bar is great. Hear the Bisque is great -and don't miss the desserts! Not cheap but worth ever cent! - We have a group of 15 and they handled us well.
Will me a must on my next trip!
When one makes a reservation for a special occasion (for a window table, three days in advance), you wouldn't expect to be seated next to the kitchen door, and then neglected by the staff for thirty minutes, but this is what happened to us last night. The appetizer never happened, but showed up on the bill, the entree took nearly an hour - and wasn't what was ordered. I never did get a glass of water, something that wouldn't happen at, say Denny's. Okay, they were busy, but I'll leave it for the tourists. The food was incredible. MOST of the staff were working their butts off, as staff always does in a place like this. The waiter was very gracious, despite the chaos going on around him.
And yes, it is expensive, but probably a good value, if you can get around the sketchy service.
