It is a rare time when we travel that we go to the same restaurant twice. We made an exception with Simon & Seafort's for three reasons. First, the food that the four in our party ordered was so uniformly exceptional that we wanted to go back to try something else. Second, the bar was the best we saw in our two week stay in Alaska. It was well stocked, and the servers all were well acquainted with what they had and did not have, which was important for the mixologist in our party. And third, the location with its view overlooking the Inlet are without parallel. We did try other restaurants while we were in Anchorage, but this one has to be one of the best we ate at during our entire 1500 mile trek through South Central Alaska.

You won’t be disappointed with this resturant. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful if you ask questions about the dinner selections. The food is superb and the drinks are to die for (try the Chai Martini). If you are looking for an amazing culinary experience while in Anchorage don’t miss this!

Just took my sisters to Simon's during their vacation. Had that eve's special of maytag blue cheese stuffed steak...it was great. My sisters had the halibut cheeks and king crab and were quite happy. I really enjoy the food, the excellent service. I don't mind paying the price. They even have new "early bird" specials for 25.00 You really need to try them.

Over priced for the quality of the food. I recommend staying in the bar and ordering off the bar menu. Bar is very nice and the prices are cheaper than the main dinning room.

The view and atmosphere are just the icing on the cake. Went here last night, just after the 4th. Even though it was late and mobbed from all the campers getting back into town, luckily, managed to grab a table in the bar right away. Service was prompt. I had the prime rib (awesome!) and my wife had the stuffed halibut. Both of our entree's were spectacular! (and promptly devoured!) The bartenders were a treat to watch, always putting on a show. For my first trip to anchorage I would have to call it a success!

This place opened in like 1976 and forever it had THE BEST food in Anchorage. However, something drastically changed a few years ago (heard that a vital kitchen team member left for Glacier BH?) and the food has only been 'OK' since then. The atmosphere and view will always be fantastic, but what comes out of the kitchen seems to be a polite crap shoot. Hope they'll get it back up to it's previous standard someday soon. In December the holiday decorations and the Hot Buttered Rum kick butt.

Went here last night it was perfect! From our drink to our main meal all was wonderful.I had the surf and turf with add on crab legs, yummy! It cost about what a terrible meal at the not worth a crap places (outback comes to mind) here in town, costs average about $50 each, but dang is it worth it. I have been here for months and this is the best in town I have found.Of course if you want a cheap place to eat stay out of Alaska...
