always had great food and service. i think some people have a pea under their mattress! the chicken mushroom marsala is fab!

Ten years ago this was a great restaurant. No more. POOR SERVICE. Average food. Last night we tried one last time (previous bad service in 2002, and againt in 2005). Last night we gave it one more try. The hostess was flirting with a customer and she was clearly put out that we bothered her by going in. She told us it'd be a 15 minute wait. We sat in the bar. Two servicers were watching tv. The hostess kept flirting with the customer. No one took our drink order. The servers weren't taking care of customers. After about 20-25 minutes we just left. No manager in sight (unless he was the one with the hostess). WE WILL NEVER GO BACK.

My family are frequent patrons of Sorrentos. The food is always delicious and service never disappoints. They have the best Calzone of any other Italian restaurant that I have eaten at! Great atmosphere and reasonably priced as well.

when i want stuffed musrooms i come here :0 i love the food only thing is if you go on a weekend be perpared to wait but that is normal at good restaurants.

The best manicotti and cannelloni in town. I have lived in Anchorage 25 years and it is one of my favorites! The year I spent on assignment in Washington DC I never found anything that compared and couldn't wait to get back.

No matter what the occasion, we love going to this restraunt! We can bring the kids (they love the pizza) and still have a "fancy" dinner. I have NEVER had a bad meal here and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. The biggest drawback is the small waiting lounge, it can get quite crowded on the weekends.

The service was impeccable; the food, outstanding. Coming from the North Jersey/NYC area, the Italian food was near perfect. Great wine, great friends, great food. We will be back.

GREAT food...the favorite eating spot for my family AND the girls from work. Reasonably priced and a perfect place to take a date or out-of-town guests. New dessert menu that rocks, too! Not much space to hang out if you are waiting for a table, so earlier is better, especially on the weekends. The bathroom is strange (speaking of the ladies room only, as I have never been compelled to visit the men's room!) Two toilets in one room...no stalls. (???) The parking lot is tiny, so street parking is highly likely. Again, earlier is better. Try this restaurant, though...you'll visit again. PS...gift certificates were a great hit at Christmas last year.
