Our family LOVES Vina! Their pho soup is the best in town. We have had many other dishes that were seasoned & cooked perfectly. Our favorite is the happy family meal. The servers are always so busy, but still give friendly quick service. Too bad that anyone has had a bad experience, because we have been dining there for years & always had a great experience.

I am huge fan of Asian cooking of all sectors and If I could have rated this restaurant with negative stars I would have. My lady and I have decades of cooking experience with foods of many different cultures. We usually do all of our own cooking (especially on the weekends). My lady worked ten hours of overtime on Saturday (money we really need) and I spent the entire day (after a fifty five hour work week + nine hours of driving time) canning tomatoes from our garden. After a conversation on the phone about dinner we decided to do takeout and my lady suggested the “Pho Vina” which we had not tried before. After what is less than a 5 minute drive from the restaurant to our home, we plated up the food immediately (we were both starving!). The breaded, fried calamari was cold and stale. After a couple of minutes of trying to chew this cold rubber , all I could swallow was the stale breading and I had to spit out the rest. All we could stomach of some sort of a beef, vegetable stir-fry which was made with some sort of thin sliced, precooked, processed beef covered in some sort of cornstarch gravy was the beef itself. The vegetables in this stir-fry in my experience tells me they are a combination of canned and frozen vegetables that were both cold and undercooked (If you have ever eaten undercooked, cold, soggy, chewy carrot slices that were previously frozen then you know what I mean). I seriously doubt that even what I think I identified as Bok Choy was fresh. I would not even have handed this garbage over to a homeless guy that I have to pass by everyday on my way to work because I will have to pass by him again on my way to work on Monday. About the only thing hopefully positive I could possibly say about the over TWENTY DOLLARS of fast-food from this restaurant that we ended up washing down the garbage disposal is that I hope somebody’s Great, Great Grandma was called in at the last moment to take over for the main cook who called in sick with the flew. I am going to assume that the other positive reviews that I read on this restaurant were written by relatives, friends or employees of this restaurant, or people who are too inexperienced to know what quality food should taste like. The cheap, frozen TV dinners we ended up eating to satisfy our hunger on this Saturday evening were far better quality than the garbage served by the ”Pho Vina”. We won’t be stopping by there again.

My husband and I love Pho and Vina has the best in town (trust me, we've been everywhere). Wonderful food, friendly service; it simply doesn't get any better than this. Their prices are amazing too and keep us coming back even in these tough economic times. Give them a try, you'll be glad you did!!

This place is hidden between the Safeway and Albertson's supermarket. When you find it, it's a great place to have some really good Vietnamese food. I ordered the noodle with all the works. It's both crunchy and soft noodles all in one dish. The sauce is great and the dish has ample veggies and meat. The spring rolls there are also very good, way better than Pho 999 spring rolls. The best part about this place is you can order a whole roast duck. I don't know of any other place in town that you does this. Bay Market has roast duck but it's brought from Seattle. Vina roast their own ducks at the restaurant. We ordered one to go to have it with rice for dinner. Definitely coming back here to try other dishes.

Best Pho in town

If you like Pho, you can not find any one better than this one in Spokane. Service is very personally comfortable. Family environment. Cheap beer as well.

Vina's is our favorite restaurant we live 45 minutes away with no traffic. But have to go at least bi-weekly or as often as we can. Try the Hot Pot. It is a vietnamse soup like the japanese shabu shabu. You'll really enjoy this cute Mom and Pop restaurant
