After we seated ourselves, MY mother uses a walker, the door makes chimes, the waitress seemed Surprised we were there, perhaps she should get off her cell phone. We ordered and I looked at the decor, it could use a good cleaning of the carpets and a spruce up and more lighting, as its chinese what about some low level chinese music?? The food was outstanding, and if they could get some help to HELP i would give it a much better rating.
Wow is all we can say. My wife and I went there for the first time tonight. After driving by it so many times we decided to stop in and try this home style restaurant. Do not expect processed food here! You wil be amazed by the quality, taste and portions that you receive, so bring an appetite. We will defintitely be back! I recommend this to everyone that is considering stopping in. Dont let the barn look fool you either, that is what gives this place character. Good food, friendly atmosphere and reasonable price for anyone to enjoy. In addition there is a lounge but we did not go in there, at least not yet :o)
Would probably be considered a regular, but a 100 restaurants could consider me a regular. I have never had a bad dish there and have had at least 30 different ones, but the shredded garlic pork is the best..... The bar is a good place to hang with friendly bartenders and cheap drinks... The whole place is family run and operated.... Jack and Lori own & run it.... Ask for Lori, she's a pip.....
I have been going to this restaurant for years. I haven't found better chinese food anywhere. They have the best soup, and it is usually included with you meal. The egg rolls are also very good. They also serve some american food there. The service is great. It is a very family friendly restaurant. I highly recommend Greenacres. I don't know anything about the bar though.
