We specialize in great "Home Style" cooking at reasonable prices, including specialties from our own in-house bakery.We are good old home cooking restaurant. We are opened 6am till 12am, breakfast, lunch and dinner served all day long. We also have pull tabs and a really nice lounge with 3 TV'sOur soups are made in-house, and we serve 2 each day. We also make our own gravy! Our country gravy is really special!We use real butter and other "real" ingredients for "real" food!We are a restaurant that has been in business since 1935, this makes our 76th anniversary.The Cottage Cafe began in 1935 by a local construction firm known as J.J. Masterson & Sons. Masterson quickly realized that he was no "restaurant man" and hired Mary Hawthorne to manage the Cottage in 1938. Mary did a remarkable job and began the legend of homemade pies, soups and goo-ole" American food.It was once said: "We cannot really own the Cottage, we are simply caretakers."
