The specialty pizzas aresome of the best in the area, salads a really good too. Prices were about the same as every other pizza place in the area, with the prices for lunch combos being very affordable. Good clean place for families and kids, lots of room for big groups. Personally, I love going there for cheesy bread or lunch combos about once or twice a week and don't see any reason to stop.
The bike theme atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. My wife agrees with me when I say this pizza was lacking flavor. I was suprised to learn they have been in business for 15 years. I got the championissimo. Maybe they had too many people there and the quality had to suffer. I'm really not a fan of conveyor belt pizza anyway. Pizza needs to be cooked in a real oven. The prices were reasonable for what you get. However I dont want to spend my money and time on a friday night and get something mediocre at best. When you have to prepay and the counter kid pipes up and announces we cot a coupon you should'nt expect much. I guess that may be why I got a pizza that tasted like a sponge with a half pound of sliced onions. If you don't like to give a break to new costomers then dont offer. I felt deminished. When the kid brought the pizza out and politely asked if we needed anything else I said yes could I get another beer he said no he could'nt because he was'nt 21. I said OK how about some parmeson and some napkins. He said we could go get them ourselves up at the counter. I thaught, well thanks for nothing. If the owners of this pizzaeria read these reviews I hope they make some changes so this dosen't happen to anyone else.
Bortolomi's is my family's favorite pizza place around. The pizza is perfect, as well as the calzone and stromboli. The unique cycling decor only helps make the Bortolomi's experience better. The area for kids to watch t.v. while waiting for dinner is the highlight of my children's time there. I can't think of anything negative about this place.
