I grew up near Chico's Pizza and it's the greatest pizza ever. I have lots of fond memories from there. The taco pizza is my favorite. Also meat lovers, but really anything is great! I love going back there so I can go to Chico's. It's my favorite pizza of all time, even better than Chicago-style!
Chico's Pizza is not just great pizza, but has great service and great after service too. I was in Long Beach on a family vacation and visited Chico's on May 13 for take out. While there, I left behind my prescription glasses but didn't realize it until I was back home in Grandview, Wa. I made a call to Chico's and sure enough they had found my glasses and are shipping them back to me at their expense. A big thank you to the manager that I spoke with. I will visit Chico's again in the future and highly recommend Chico's to anyone visiting Long Beach. Chico's is more than a five star restaurant in my book.
Chico's is an awesome pizza parlor! really good pizza and a very chill place! I like how they have a younger group of people that work there and they know what they are doing! I give it 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!
As a kid growing up on the Long Beach Peninsula I have so many fond memories that involve Chico's Pizza Parlor that I could not begin to share them all. We have always gone there after every sporting event it is THE gathering place. The owners have sponsored the local teams, Charities and everything else you can imagine over the years ,they are wonderful people. The tables are legendary the kids started carving their names in the the long red tables from the original parlor years ago and it is a tradition that stands today, to my knowlege there is no profanity carved unless it was done by the tourists, the locals would not deface something so sacred it is just good clean family tradition. The owners used to paint them regularly but finally gave up and made it part of the ambience. The pizza is excellent, they make their own thin crust and pizza sauce, and we love it!
Thank you Bill, Sandy & Kevin for all the memories and great pizza!
On our last adventure to the Long Beach Pennisula we happen'd to stop by and give this place a try....lets jusy say ok service and bad food. whats with all the profanitys carved in every table? not a hot pick.
last week, (Tuesday), we were in Long Beach. Our favorit pizza place was closed. We decided to give Chico's a try. Sorry, but this is not the place for a good pizza. It's ok for a bunch of kids with quarters, but other then that, he really missed the boat!!
Our Family has a beach cabin in Long Beach. Everyone goes there a couple times a year. We cannot leave without going to Chico's Pizza. I am not crazy about the salad bar, but my husband likes their assortment of beer. They have a really nice flat screen TV. I love the thin crust and all the topping that are layered on. I feel like I am walking into a old traven with vaulted ceiling. Like you would find in an European Country side. Their pizza is on the pricey side, but it is not greasey like other pizzas and you can taste the food that is on it instead of just grease and dough.
