Great folks running a great business. Good food prompt service, authentic Thai food. The menu is pretty diverse. Thai like mom never made. The room is large booths or traditional Thai seating; private, quiet. Good stuff!
Not happy with their service. I was greeted properly by a nice young lady. However, the waiter never waited on us. We walked out bc we noticed that someone, who arrived a few mins later, and was sitting next to our table, was greeted and served. The waiter never said one word to us. From experiences, if a waiter is busy, he will acknowledge us first, which we totally understand, then come back.
Not only is the staff so polite and friendly, but they are soooo good at their jobs. You have a choice to sit in a booth or at a table. We always choose a booth, more private. once food is ordered, it isn't long before you have it in front of you. We usually order 1 appetizer, and 3 or 4 entrees w/ steamed rice. then put a little of everything on our plates. The food is full of flavor and the meat is so tender. Although I am completely stuffed when I leave, it still feels like I ate very little. Love this place!
Bahn Thai is definitely my favorite place in Kitsap County. I can take family or friends for a relaxing dinner. Service is prompt, but not rushed. Upon entering, you can ask for a booth or a table. Booths are set with traditional pillows. You are asked to take off your shoes for dinner. How many places ask you to take off your shoes and relax against Asian pillows while you dine on satay, soup, rice and your main entrees? Bahn Thai does.
The menu is entirely authentic Thai, coming from a broad scope of the country. Cultural background of dishes is explained in their menu. Spice is added on the star system upon request for most dishes. Prices are very respectable. Plan on $50 for two, including gratuity, and boxes for taking the rest home.
