I spent a week in Port Angeles visiting my family in July, and spent time daily at the Bella Rosa coffee house grading papers for my college class. The employees were friendly and polite. They served great coffee (expresson with whipped cream) and always had a smile. There was always space from us, and the atmospehre was relaxed. Thanks for everything
Eh. It's an ok place.
This coffee shop used to be a lot nicer a few years ago when there were different owners, but since these new people have the place it's gone way downhill. The employees are disinterested and rarely smile, the coffee seems to be burnt tasting or way too sweet, and the whole shop isn't nearly as comfortable as it used to be.
Also, the people in this town voted the espresso to be worse than Starbucks, which is saying a lot.
I miss the old Bella Rosa.
Just another coffee place: Nice enough to offer you a place to sit since it's only walkin and no drive through. All is just average. Not much offered in the way of food besides a biscotti and a cookie. Some ambiance would do the place wonders.
I live in Port Angeles, and it's my favorite. (And the 800 pound gorilla of all coffee shops is across the street inside Safeway!) The coffee is better, the people are nice, they have WiFi (although I don't care), newspapers to read, nice chairs and tables -- and it's the hometown place. I like it.
