Two stars for hospitality and ambiance, negative three for price, selection and portions. The staff are great though, and I must say it was the best manicotti I ve ever had. Come to think of it, I ll add a star for that.
I was told the food at Luca's was good. I went their tonight. I have never been more disappointed with Italian food in my life. I ordered the lasagna with meat sauce. It was nothing more then over cooked lasagna noodles with a thin layer of ricotta cheese and drenched in a tomato sauce they called meat sauce. I tasted no meat. You are better off buying a family size frozen lasagna for $10 at Haggen. I paid $15 for nothing..the salad was placed on a tea saucer and finished in maybe 8 bites. I don't know what they're thinking. Adding insult to injury I assumed $50 would have covered a family of 4 with two small children but I was taken for $64. Drive to Everett Lombardi's for real Italian food.
Luca's Pizzeria Ristorante has the best true rustic Italian atmosphere and food. The service was excellent. My server was Pamela and she is GREAT!!!!!!!! the food was also excellent. I will definately return and spred the word.
Luca you are the BEST ITALIAN Restaurant in the Worth West!!!!!!!!
Luca's has the best pizza I've ever had. I have yet to try the other menu items, but my family and I will do so very soon. I just cant stop ordering the pizza. The ambiance is great! I love being able to watch the owner toss pizza dough and make authentic Sicilian pizza as we wait.
I'm not sure what the other guy was talking about, but I've never had a bad experience at Luca's.
Luca's is a slice of Italy!
After being recomended to your establishment and reading all the endorsements, I decided to treat my Lady to a nice quiet anniversary dinner. We were greeted very well and seated. Low and behold we did not realize that our waiter would be speaking spanish to us and your other waitresses were so busy chatting as loud as a fog horn. Thus we could not even hold our own conversation. Your waiter recommended one of the highest priced meals to me and I put my trust in him. When the meal came there was not enough food to feed even a church mouse. (Very dissapointing). I like to walk away from a restaurant full not hungry.
The ambience of your establishment is terrible due to your loud staff and small portioned overpriced dinners. I work for a large company and alot of my co-workers live up this way. They will be told not to get ripped off by comming to your place of business. I am very diappointed and down right embarassed that we had our anniversary there.
Sorry to tell the truth but there you have it.
Luca's is my absolute favorite italian restaurant. The food is incredible. The wait staff are there to please. The price is a little expensive but its well worth it. I would recommend Luca's to anyone who would like to taste real italian food.
