Palisade Restaurant, Seattle

Great Food. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to have a fun evening out.

WOW, great view, building right on the waterfront. This visit was to celebrate a birthday, table included card & flower petals - very nice surprise for recipient. Menu very comprehensive = steak & prime rib to fresh fish & salads or appetizers. Service from beginning to end = excellent. Questions were answered or someone was found to give the answer. Waitress very attentive to table, dishes brought quickly, either hot or cold. Dessert included a birthday candle and very subtle words of congratulations. All in All we had an enjoyable evening and Definitely will return in the near future. To the ?chefs? who gave a bad review, I would suggest they confine their dining out to making a picnic to take to the nearest park. My other comment to their review is: use spell check the next time. I had the prime rib and my husband had the NY steak. We also ordered a sampler of the appetizers. All of the meat was prepared to perfection. My husband had the chocolate moussecake. I did not like it because it was the bitter, very rich chocolate. I had the bananna sundae- very good. Others had the creme brule- very good. If you arrived at the first seating, you get a 3 course meal for $30.00 if you choose, which includes dessert. For 4 people drinking cocktails, appetizers, and 1 ordering on the regular menu, the bill was $198.00. I thought the food, ambience, and service were worth it.

Loved the swordfish. Service not so much. View does it's job daily so hey can't really rate that except to say-Way to go God. The lentils with the swordfish made the dish and a good glass does not hurt either.

The food is outstanding with an excellent variety of dishes available on the menu. The ambiance of the facility itself enhances the dining experience tremendously. You have a full view of Alki, Harbor Island and downtown Seattle to stimulate your senses outside the floor to ceiling glass that makes up the whole south and west sides of the building. Inside, the seating is very comfortable and you can watch the full size salmon swiming through the indoor stream there in the restaurant..

Wonderful food and environment. Loved the seafood, tasted fresh, and i would emidiently go back to this wonderful place. thanks for the great dining expierience!

The only thing I don't like about this place is the knowledge I can not go there every day. I love the view, the food, and the service. I think about Palisade all the time and can not wait for my next experience there.
