Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro, Bellingham

We don't drink and we came for the food (they have gluten-free food and beer). Speed of service can depend on how busy it is, and it's usually quite busy. We plan to go for a brunch next time, so that shouldn't matter much. I think this is about the best you can do for the price in Bellingham.

I absolutely love the food at Boundary Bay, while my husband loves the beer. When we visit it is a must for us to have the tapenade, also the macaroni and cheese is amazing, as is the BeerBQ Pulled Pork sandwich..... yumm yumm yumm. Keep it up guys!

Great little brewery in downtown Bellingham with a variety of tasty meals many of which are made from ingredients produced locally. Very popular spot for both locals and out-of-towners and routinely has a band performing in the dining area. Beers served are brewed on the premises.

This restaurant/brewery is fantastic. It's located right on the water (as its name suggests), in a beautiful room. The beers are flavorful and delicious (there's a particularly perfect oatmeal ale), and the food is filled with fresh Northwestern flavors, like fresh salmon and hazelnuts. Prices are a little steep, but this place is worth it. Can get crowded, and they close earlier than you might want, but still check this brewery out when you're in town.

As the name suggests, this is a brewery with award winning brews. Specialties: ale, stout & Bellingham Blond . Food is great. Both inside & outside dining. They feature Movie Night, Fish Fries on Fridays, Beer BQ Wed - Fri, and Live Music Nights - check ahead because not all nights.

Finally, after ages of searching for a decent restaurant that doesn't leave one feeling poisoned and violated, we find Boundary Bay. The prices are not bad, the food: about as good as one can get for the price around here. Don't compare to bigger cities. Don't! Resist! --Accept that we are stuck in Bellingham. Come to peace with it.... There...much better. P.S. I agree with the other reviewer about the service. It's a roulette.

My husband and recently discovered Boundary Bay and we LOVE IT!!! We drive up from Burlington to have their Oatmeal Stout - the best brew around and their food!!!! In our opinion, the food is gourmet quality, always tastes wonderful and fresh. The atmosphere is laid back and funky and servers are always friendly and we are happy with the service. I give it a 5 star rating!!!!!

The food here is good, the salad portions are generous and the value is there. The service is sometimes a little spotty but who are we kidding? It's Bellingham. It's a brewery (not a five-star chalet bistro!). And, the cool setting and decor more than make up for it.

Boundary Bay has put out consistent brews for years. The environment is a clear reflection of Bellingham and the people who live here; lively, social, and outgoing. The food compliments the brew perfectly and if you like lamb you must try the lamburger. I go to BBB to meet freinds or go out for a nice meal.

I LOVE this place. The micro brews are to die for. The food is unusual and so good. I would eat there every week if I could. Check it out. It's worth it.
