Espresso Vivace Roasteria, Seattle

I always love this little shop . . . it's kinda near where I grew up and even though the big box shops tend to be more consistent, I still think Vivace Roasteria has a stronger brew and blend. Just a chill spot to enjoy an espresso.

Really arogant staff, and the coffee just plain tasted bad. When i went into the bathroom, there was blood on the floor and when i told the barista she just gave me a dirty look.

When people ask me my favorite in Seattle, I always say Vivace, weither you have a latte there or buy the beans for home you can't go wrong

Their roast is good, but not great. Did someone say Ghiradelli chocolate in the mochas??? If true, I wouldn't brag too much about that, as Ghiradelli is to chocolate as Starbucks is to coffee. For great coffee and an AWESOME mocha, Caffe D'Arte on 2nd Ave. is the only name you need to know...

I couldn't believe when i saw this on yahoo as one of the top 10 coffee shops in America. They don't even sell coffee. Espresso's great; I love espresso. They make great espresso. But as a poor caffeine addicted student on the hill, I only made the mistake of popping into vivace once. Some people can't afford to spend $3.00 a cup, especially when you need a fix 3+ times a day. So, if you're looking to share a few moments with some crunchy, left-wing, elitist yuppies, go to vivace. The hoi polloi are a few blocks down at tully's drinking drip (free refills!!!) :)

I moved to Colorado in April 06 and all i have as far as coffee goes is StarBURNS!!!!!!!!! GOD I MISS YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!I I went home to Seattle in Sept and the IST place i went to (no lie) is right from the Airport was Broadway V (my ole watering hole) i miss the everyone that work's there (you guys are the best,Brian i love ya babe). I can't wait to move back to the hill and have a REAL CUP O JOE miss ya MARY
