Outstanding Brunch
By ,
I've never experienced a more sumptuous brunch. From the fresh seafood to the flowing chocolate river - it was a devine dining delight. A sunny day, the one you love, and the fantastic view of the Seattle skyline - it bordered on the surreal.

My wife and I made reservations for our 25th anniversary. When we arrived after nearly 60 miles of driving, we were greeted with parking in the street unless you wanted to pay someone to park your car in the restaurants parking lot not 20 yards away. Playing frogger with traffic to get to the restaurant, we made it inside. Expecting to have a quiet, romantic evening dinner, the staff sat us next to a large party who were noisy and were consuming large amounts of alcohol. The food was under cooked, tasteless, and over priced. The waitress who was working hard was seldom seen not helping the large party. From the time we sat down, we waited for water, our order, and our check. The noise was so bad, I couldn't have a conversation with my wife sitting directly across from me. The seat we had was facing the sun and I literally had to wear sun glasses during dinner. It really wasn't worth the hassles. There are much better options in the Seattle area. Long John Silvers would have been an improvement.

YUMMY and Romantic!
By ,
I loved eating at Salty's on Alki, it was so romantic seeing the water as I ate PAN SEARED HALIBUT BROWNED LEMON VERBENA VINAIGRETTE! A really wonderful dish. The food I think is priced just right. The food is truely gourmet and you won't be disappointed.

Salty's Old School
By ,
Salty's is like RedMill Burgers. Its rep carries much further than the actual food. Salty's is literally salty and among the discerning Seattle restaurant-goers lost its premier positioning long ago. Prices are good and the view is superb so that can get distracting (like the Space Needle) but close your eyes and taste the food and you'll get it. Try Waterfront or Palace. Tim

The best brunch that I have ever had and been to.
By ,
The location is awesome and with the view makes it so much better. The regular dinner is great but it could have a little more. I don't mean to focus on one thing but the brunch is fabulous!

Some of the best seafood in Seattle!
By ,
If you love seafood then this is the place for you! Great salmon, cod, and any other type of seafood you might enjoy. Definitely worth your time to go and spend a little extra money for some great seafood.

It was the night from hell. The food is way overpriced for what you get. Service was below expectations for a high quality restaurant. The view is beautiful. They ran out of Alaskan King Crab and shattered a full wine glass. No apologies from any one. They were happy to bring the bill with a smile.
