Wasabi Bistro

Description

This lively eatery, popular with the hip Belltown crowd, serves up inventive Japanese fusion creations. Purists may be disappointed by Americanized concoctions such as the deep-fried Las Vegas roll (featuring eel, cucumber, cream cheese, and avocado), but sushi novices may find the offerings more approachable than traditional raw bar fare. Entrees include yakisoba, udon and a variety of seafood dishes. Service is generally attentive but some servers seem less than knowledgeable about the menu's more experimental dishes.

Best sushi ever!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/9/08
I love Wasabi Bistro! They have the best sushi and they have cocktails to die for. My absolute favorites are the Tempura Seattle Roll and Mango Tango. I love their Pineapple Drop Martini and Lychee Martini. And the wait staff are always so friendly!

Prolly one of the best place in Seattle for Sushi...the parking is just right in the back so no need to walk far...the inside is very elegant. It's perfect for a first date, family and friends. The bar offers many drinks and very attractive. Speaking of attractive, the females are gorgeous. Whether you're looking for a great sushi location or a perfect place for a date, Wasabi Bistro is what you need.

Great Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/10/07
Awesome sushi rolls! Some of the best sushi I have ever had. And I have had lots. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Some people out there dont understand that if you order a lot of sushi it takes a little while to prepare.

I keep coming back & I don't even live here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/1/07
This is one of my favorite places to eat at. I moved away about 4 years ago and everytime I'm in town this is where I meet up with all my friends. Service has always been great and the food excellent (even for those who are not big sushi lovers).

best sushi in seattle for sure
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/20/05
I love to eat at wasabi bistro. Very friendly staff with a great selection of sushi. World class sushi chefs make the best sushi I've had in Seattle. The price range for this restraunt would be somewhat mid to high. A good place for a date.

Late night craving...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/05
Pretty cool place, like the Decadance roll and sake selection. You get a bowl of edamame when you order food. I only go there late night and have been there quite a few times. Service is hit or miss, never rude but can definatley be short and to the point. That won't really keep me from going back.

Can't wait to go back again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/05
Loved the green decadence roll. The California roll was an experience. The Miso soup is like none I've ever had and I loved it. The service is fast, the presentation lovely. For more experience sushi and sashimi eaters - there is the bar where the big boys sit.

I love this Sushi!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/26/05
Everytime I come to Wasabi, I get to taste the best that Seattle has to offer in the freshest sushi and the butteriest socki. The dim lighted sensual atmosphere including live music and great appetizers makes it a wonderful romantic evening. The Happy Hour prices are unbeleivabley inexpensive. So if your looking to dine out at one of Seattle's finer sushi estalishments, then you need to experience Wasabi Bistro located on 2nd and Wall in Belltown.

Belltown's best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/6/05
I disagree with one of the reviewers who said this was a disgrace to the name. There is plenty of reasons why i don't believe this is suppose to be a japanese themed restaurant. This is a modernize americanized sushi restaurants that caters to caucasians. Show me another "asian theme" restaurant that has life jazz bands and other live bands. I would definately say this is one of the best sushi restaurants in seattle. It is expensive just like any other nice sushi place but again, you're paying for the atmosphere which this place provides.

trying to be japanese but totally not so
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/26/05
okay. the servers and bartenders may be asian, but hello. the place is supposed to be japanese-themed. therefore, i would expect to have japanese speaking servers and bartenders. nevertheless, the servers and bartenders were alright. although, quite sloooow in the service sector. the drinks are just the ordinary drinks that one can find at a dive bar. the decor is totally not japanese at all. gosh, such a disgrace to the bar name of "wasabi bistro".
