Chinook's at Salmon Bay

Description

Chinook's at Salmon Bay is a seafood restaurant which will seduce you with its fresh and wide range of seafood dishes. The chefs at Chinook's use the most uncontaminated, chemical-free fishes and other sea animals to prepare delicacies that you'll dream about for days long after the meal. Gorge on your seafood platter while viewing a fleet of fishing vessels, floating idly on the azure waters. The fresh grilled Idaho trout, the seafood fettucine, the crab-cakes and the clam chowder will give you a fair idea of what good seafood truly is. So enjoy your lunch with family and friends and have a wonderfully great time in each other's company.

Great food and very reasonably priced. We live way up North but come down occasionally. Wife loves their Cobb Salad and I get the Idaho trout almost every single time. Really good Fish and Chips as well along with the best white clam chowder I've ever had. One warning. Don't bother with the Little Chinook's next door. Almost the same price and not nearly as good. Just get your food to go from the main restaurant if you're in a bit of a rush.

I used to live in Ballard and loved to eat at Chinook's! The best halibut fish and chips on the planet! Reasonable prices and a priceless view. A must visit spot when visiting Seattle!

We went for the brunch before a Husky game and then took the boat over to the stadium. The entire experience was wonderful. The food was delicious and the boat ride really fun. After the game we went in for dinner and again had good food and good service. I will definitely go back.

Great Food and Service
By ,
Great selection of food and beverages. Service was quick and friendly. High ceilings make the noise level a bit challenging. Will definitely go again next time in Seattle area.

Great weekend brunch - fantastic homemade scones!
By ,
I love the scones! They bring you fresh hot scones as you wait for your meal...with warm lemon honey butter. Sometimes I'll just buy a few scones to go. The breakfasts are great, a little pricey, but worth it. The ambiance is perfect for a Sunday brunch - the photography of the fishing boats is spectacular. The early bird special for breakfast is a good deal - a few dollars cheaper. The pancakes and french toast are superb, but do NOT miss the scones!

Good Neighborhood Experience
By ,
Chinooks is within walking distance of my house, so I go there all the time. The breakfasts are very good. Wonderful scones with orange butter. Dinner is fair, another Anthony's in a sea of Anthony's. Most of the tables have a view of the boats and the water.
