Jak's Grill, Seattle

If you want someplace to go with the best steak, go here! Staff is always happy to adjust to your specific dietary needs. They have the best drinks in West Seattle and serve Makers Mark, my favorite!

I used to eat my steak well done, but Jak's has shown me the light. Now I just ask for medium, and let the chef decide how when it's right. And the chef is always right. It's a pleasant surprise to find that one of Seattle's best steakhouses isn't located downtown, but in West Seattle's Junction neighborhood, where the locals seem to keep it a guarded secret. The service and atmosphere is a step above your neighborhood expectation, but the dress is still Seattle casual. Finally, I admit I go to Jak's for the potato pancakes (or the three other styles of potato) as much as the steak.

con: no reservations I love Jaks! They have the world's best steak salad! Also be sure to be up on the Jak's lingo and order a UFO (potato pancake on top of garlic mashed potatoes) for all of those who can't decide between the 2 no need to! we often do take out when its too busy to get in!

This is an amazing steakhouse! My boyfriend and I recently went there (early: we heard how long the waiting list can be on weekends) and the steaks were simply divine. Grilled perfectly to our order and seasoned just so. The house salad that came with it was another story. It was plate full of chopped iceberg lettuce and some dressing on top. No veggies, not even a tomato. But we were perfectly willing to let that slide when we were served our entrees. The main focus here is the steak and they reign supreme in that area. Don't even think of asking for A1 at this place! You will not need it. The fantastic potato pancakes are a delicious meal on their own! That all topped with great service makes this the steakhouse to go to!

Big fat steaks and lots of stairs; we love Jak's. As good as the food is though, we return over and over again for the service. Witty, knowledgeable and (in at least one case) incredibly gorgeous. Well done.

Every good occasion to have steak takes us to Jak's. The steaks have the best value and flavor. The Metropolitan Grill and Daniel's Broiler have great steaks, but Jak's serves up all the side dishes that the competition charges extra for for a lot less money. The herb butter they place on the steaks makes them perfect. Don't hesitate to try Jak's - I always recommend it!!!

Jaks has the environment, the service and great food to make it one of the best places in town for a great steak. Whenever you enter Jaks the staff and comfortable lighting makes you feel at home. Jaks has great steaks and wonderful seafood. The only thing that Jaks is lacking is the ability to make reservations.

Jax is a friendly comfortable resturant with the best dry aged steaks I ever tasted. A bit pricy but worth it. Jax's is a caual dining experience with less than casual taste.
