Great destination restaurant. Awesome view of Lake Union. Gracious service. Excellent food. Bring your out of town guests here for a special time

The is the weirdest restaurant I have ever eaten in. Staff ironing tablecloths in the dining room, staff hovering over you, half the patrons wanting something they ate there 20 years ago and food that is overpriced and unmemorable.

A vibrant bar scene, stunning view and sublime, gracious service captivate everyone who enters this family owned 60-year old restaurant. Chef Jason Franey is putting his own spin on classic dishes, whilst engaging your every sense with his cutting edge tasting menus, featuring the very best of local farms and artisans. Pricey to be sure, but a bargain when you leave so well fed and cared for!

Saddly not what it once was. Eating my salmon I thought I could make this better, which is just wrong. The staff and wine guy are a little too pushy and hyberbolic when it comes to they suggestions. But still the best view in the city.

Canlis is in a class of one. Chef Jason Franey has put together a world-class menu that could go toe-to-toe with any of the New York big boys or girls. The service is perfect, warm, and exceptionally polished. Whether you're a high-roller or not, Canlis offers an amazing dining experience. Easily the best that the Seattle are has to offer.

Our place to go for any special family occasion. You are treated like you are the only patron in the restaurant. You get what you pay for at this landmark Seattle establishment.

Probably the best restaurant in Seattle. Very established, family run, quality throughout. Guests should 'dress,' gentlemen/jackets. Far corner table in lounge has a wonderful view, as do many other tables, but I like this one. Upstairs is the popular/private Cache Room~reserved once for the evening for 2 to 4 people~through treetop views to Lake Union, private service, billed following day.
