4 reviews for Dahlia Lounge
For Visitors to the Pacific Northwest

Belltown is the clubbing and restaurant scene in downtown Seattle, and Tom's places are among the best patronized by locals as well as out-of-towners. The crowd seemed upwardly mobile from 30 to 50 but the prices were not out-of-line. Ambience here is elegant and professional. The Dahlia Lounge has a compentant bar without blenders, but then those may be more "de rigeur" in the southern latitudes, anyway. The local salmon was expertly prepared and a highlight of my gastronomical tour. It looked like a small portion on presentation, but was more than enough to be an entree. The service was more than professional. I'll definitely return with others.

Go for the pie
By Bill, 08/29/06
Dark, urban, hip and consistently good. But the #1 reason to visit Dahlia is the Coconut Cream pie. Seriously, the best ever. I've gone there just for dessert a bunch of times.

Fantastic
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/28/06
I normally try to stay away from the one-word titles...restaurants usually either deserve more or less. However, there's not a lot that more to be said about the Dahlia Lounge. It was, quite simply, fantastic. I had the Peking duck while the rest of my dining party had the crab cakes...both were outstanding. Without question the best prepared duck I've ever had. We complemented those dishes with a great bottle of Washington Sangiovese, the shrimp pot stickers, and the sea bar sampler...again, all outstanding. We finished with two desserts : the famed coconut cream pie (perhaps a little heavy on the cream) and the rhubarb-strawberry cake - both excellent. Pricey? Yes. Well worth it? Oh yeah. Outstanding service as well, by the way.

Desserts and soups are fantastic
By wwarner, 09/26/05
I like the Dahlia Lounge for its fresh, local food and satisfying, seasonal desserts. The soups are especially fresh and colorful, and I recommend ordering a soup along with any entree you select.
