Don't be fooled by the decor
This is the place for well-prepared, fresh sushi and traditional Japanese dishes at a good price. It's some of the best sushi (portions, selection, freshness) that I've had outside of Japan. (If anything, it reminds me of some of the lo-fi sushi places around the Tsukiji in Tokyo.) Some of the other dishes, e.g., the geoduck, are also excellent. The hole-in-the-wall vibe definitely belies the quality of the food.
