The Crab Pot, Seattle

Horrible service. Came as a group of 6, order the larger portion that had a pile of seafood and I split it with my wife and 4 yr. old son. The clams and muscles were not cleaned properly thus we were eating sand with our meal. I asked the waitress about all the sand and she was so patronizing her reply was they are clams, they live in the sand, so you are bound to get sand in you food . Good seafood is not served with sand, I would have walked out of the place, if I did nt have guests with me. BTW this is the FIRST bad review I have ever written.

Our meals were well prepared! I love seafood and this place remind me the reason why. The service is excellent and I just love the atmosphere while with my family.

I had heard a lot of great thing about this place. We went with a group of 8. The food was fresh but i felt we did not get what was specified in the menu. For 2 people we only got 2 crab clusters when they advertised 2 different kinds of crab so obviously we did not get the 2 different kinds or only 1 kind of each for 2 people that was kinda a rip off. I don't beleive i will ever go back. our waitress was to busy to come back to answer our questions and had added extra drink to our bill.

Excellent food and not terrible prices. If you go, someone HAS to have the crab and crab. Put on the bib and dig in!

It was my daughters birthday and she was excited to eat crab and use the mallet. We enjoyed every minute of it. Not only did the waitress smile and tend to our wishes, she brought a piece of cake with a candle on it. We sang happy birthday to her. It was a pleasant time!!

Split The Alaskan - a mix of king, dungeness, and snow crab along with prawns, mussels, clams, ouille sausage, red-skinned potatos and corn on the cob. A little pricy at just under $40/person but definitely some of the best seafood I've eaten. Worth the price in my mind. Service wasn't spectacular (didn't check in on us but maybe once) but fulfilled requests quickly. Come hungry.

Love it! Go early it gets busy fast. Everything about this place is excellent. Whenever we have compnay come from out of town, we end up taking them here. Thanks Crab Pot for being so darn delicious. Can't wait to come back and eat again!

I have been there a few times. I just love their seafood basket, simple and full of flavors, with reasonable prices. Sometimes I feel the servers were a little tired and cranky, but hey, the food is great, what more can you ask for?

Absolutely the best seafood restaurant anywhere! Forget about dropping your wad at fancy places that serve small portions, this place is the ! My friend and I ate there around 2 p.m., got right in, speedy and friendly servers and the bartender made our duckfarts flawlessly. We had been trying bars all day and only this place could nail it. And taking a wood mallet to your food was fun and of course the food was exceptional. I recommend anyone to come try out their SeaFeasts when you are in Seattle!

I just want to start off by saying this place is AWESOME!!!!! I felt like I was eating like a Queen. You actually wear a bib and get to eat with your hands. Can't forget the Mallet they give you. If you have not tried this place, and you love Seafood, than you have to try this place. The Service was also wonderful. I Defitnitly plan on going back!!!! A+ in my book...
