The food at Wild Ginger spans the Pacific Rim from China to Indonesia. We pride ourselves on offering traditional dishes from these distinctive regions and insist on house-made ingredients. Chefs make spicy chili sambals, fresh coconut milk, delicate egg noodles, and our pungent oyster sauce all from scratch. Love this place!

For ordinary people, this is a once-in-a-while treat and a wonderful place to take guests. It IS expensive, but worth it for special occasions.

The perfect Excuse

Wild Ginger is my perfect excuse to come back to Seattle time after time. Coming from London I find it very good value for money and nothing to envy any Asian restaurants in Europe. Well done!

Good for business lunches.

I think Wild Ginger was inventive once upon a time, but with so many Asian fusion restaurants in Seattle now it doesn't stand out from the crowd. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad restaurant by any means. In fact, it is a perfect business lunch location. The problem is that it keeps getting rated as one of Seattle's top restaurants when there are more authentic Thai places in town. I'd recommend trying someplace like Typhoon! or even lil' ole' Mae Phim's down on First for some interesting Thai food.

Just So So...

Went there with a reservation and still waited 25 minutes. The waiter was rushed and too tired to do a good job. Food was so so, and that was my 5th visit. Poplular in my judgment simply due to location.

Went there with a larger group to one of the 'private' rooms. The service was exceptional and the food was better than I had remembered it. For the busiest place in town this is the way to go

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE AMBIENCE AND THE FOOD. A MUST FOR EVERYONE TO TRY IS THE DUCK, SZECHUAN GREEN BEENS AND THE SEVEN FLAVOR BEEF!

resturant freview

This is my favorite resturant in Seattle. After attending chef school my self there aren't many places that I love. (because chefs can be very picky) I am also a Vegetarian. Wild Ginger is the best. One night my husband and I were there, and I had forgot my reading glasses to read the menu.The head waiter offered his for me. This is just one incident. They are truely wonderful there.
