Wild Ginger
Description
The food at Wild Ginger spans the Pacific Rim from China to Indonesia. We pride ourselves on offering traditional dishes from these distinctive regions and insist on house-made ingredients. Chefs make spicy chili sambals, fresh coconut milk, delicate egg noodles, and our pungent oyster sauce all from scratch. To achieve the sublime flavors of the East, there is no substitute for the time-honored customs of these rich and ancient cultures.
One of the best happy hour bargains around. We ate til we were full w/ drinks for $35 for two! And we're not talking bar food either, some very delicious entrees. Highly recommend.
A well known dining site for a reason. The duck is amazingly good and it is a great place for those with dietary needs. Always will to accomidat requests.
Given all the hype and hubbub surrounding this restaurant, I was a little disappointed with the food. It was good, but it didn't live up to its reputation. Service was very nice, however, as was decor and ambience.
Wild Ginger is more than a convenient standby for concertgoers. This Asian fusion is mainly Thai-Malaysian, the sate counter Cantonese. Dishes keep to a high standard, with many choices to fit dietary needs or choices. The signature duck dish is a must. Service gets a little crazy due to customers running for deadlines, but the servers are very helpful and efficient.
Been there twice and I have been underwhelmed both times. Food was not hot (sat by the satay bar one time so we noticed how the satay are sitting there getting cold before a waiter comes to pick them up to bring them to various tables.)Overrated, over-hyped, I'm over it!
