I meet a group of college-age friends here every Friday and have to say its one of my favorites. I'm new to the area but no stranger to Chinese Food. When you go here, I'd suggest breaking from the standard faire. The Kung Paos and the Mongolian Beef are on the menu and they're good, if a bit delicate when it comes to the Kung Pao. But if you really want the great stuff, I would personally suggest the Dry-Cooked Chicken with String Beans or the Garlic Chicken. The Dumplings are also good friend or steamed. If you enjoy soup, try the Hot and Sour- though they aren't the best in this department. For those who prefer some spice to their soup, you'll need to use some of the pepper paste in it, which is given at the table.
You'll need to ask for forks, as the standard is chopsticks. Its a modest little place (some might say a dive) that seats very few, but is usually packed. The portions- especially the soup- are very large. Expect to take some home, especially if you're in a small group or alone.
