Red Mill Burgers

Description

The original Red Mill was located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Seattle and opened in 1937. It closed in 1967. It was known as a diner and ice creamery with table and counter service. The current Red Mills were opened first in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood in 1994 and the second location in the Interbay neighborhood in 1998. In its first year of operation the Red Mill received honorable mention in the best burger category in the Seattle Weekly's annual Best of Seattle issue. It has subsequently won the best burger award every year since, along with numerous other accolades.

Great Burgers!!! I just got back from Iraq and went here for my first burger and it was great!!! I had a Bacon Deluxe w/Cheese!!! I love Burger King but this was a great Burger!!!! I didn't even care that i had to wait forever and a half for my burger since i could smell the food and it smelled so good!!! The place is small and only accepts Cash so I got my Burgers to go to the Woodland Park just around the corner which was nice!!! I saw this place on Man vs Food with Adam Richman and this place is your Burger Spot if your in Seattle!!!!

Red Mill is a great place with a nice view of Greenlake and right near the zoo. But, anyone in Seattle can tell you that Dick's is the best burger in town. They have five locations and are a Seattle landmark. If you coming from out of town, try both places and decide for yourself. You won't be dissapointed at either one.

Best burger in town. Double Deluxe with cheese is awesome ... but don't pass up the BBQ Chicken sandwich as well. First time I had that, I went back their four days in a row.

The people are THE BEST PERIOD. Just plain nice and efficient. I regularly come here as I am a Starbucks addict and they share the parking lot. So, since I travel with 3 chihuahuas in tow, I get my Mocha and then order 2 or 3 hamburger patties for Murphy, Pearl and Murril. The patties are nibbled by me too!! They are always juicy and delicious, just wonderfully tasteful and fresh. I personally die for the Onion Rings and deep fried Mushroom, Mushroom are normally available only on Tue. and Wed. boy they are sooooo good. And the rings, giant sliced sweet onions, no little leathery whimpy rings here! Just big, moist and crunchy outside ones. My ideal lunch, patties for the beasts, a ring and shroom with tartar for me. Now that's living baby!

It's a good burger, but lets not get crazy. It doesn't compare to Two Bells Tavern, Dahlia Lounge/Palace Kitchen, or even Shultzys. It's the next step below these places, and it's a big step.

I went to Seattle at least 6 years ago and my family loved the place so much my dad bought a shirt and we took a picture outside of it. It is absolutely amazing. If you're even near Seattle, you need to go here and check it out for yourself! You know it's worth it if I can still remember it out of all the places I have eaten at since.

Red Mill has some of the best burgers I have ever had! There is a good reason for the line to be out the door... it worth the wait!

I have been going to Red Mill for years, until recently I could not stop myself from getting their bacon deluxe with cheese (which is amazing), but I have now found the Blue Cheese Bacon burgar on a kieser bun... let's just say that there is a new favorite. Hands down the best burgars in Washington, and I have eaten everywhere! Love this place!

I live in Texas, where beef is king, and I have never had a better burger than when at Red Mill in Seattle. Fantastic. The pile of bacon next to the grill is a sight to see. If I remember correctly, they accept cash only. That information might be helpful to future customers, if I'm right.

Red Mill rocks! But if you're on your way to Mt. Rainier on the Paradise side, you've got to stop at Scaleburgers in Elbe. Awesome!
