This spacious venue is cheery and casual attracting a massive crowd of locals for its delicious dim sum and Chinese cuisine. The menu has a wide variety of offerings and features dishes like crispy honey walnut shrimp and the sticky rice. However, the dish to write home about is the dim sum that are piping hot and full of meat and other traditional assortments. The chilli sauce that accompanies is enough to cause midnight cravings. The desserts are good too with a few specialties like the carrot cake.
If you want to be treated rudely, this is the place to be. From the front receptionist to the waitresses.... they all do not know good customer service. Not to mention very dirty, unsanitary. I wonder how they are allowed to operate with very idrty place!!!!
Some friends from church invited me out for Chinese food. I believed that I had eaten the best, but Jade Garden changed my mind. It was so crowded, we waited 45 minutes to be seated. I have never regretted the time, because I was so impressed with the wonderful and varied flavors! The shumai is scrumptuous, the queen of a divine menu. I cannot go more than 10 days without visiting Jade Garden for dim sum, though I am a bit embarrassed that the staff knows my face. Please, stop by Jade Garden. I promise that it will become an addiction worth feeding.
I go back to this place over and over again because it offers up the best dimsum in Seattle. It can be a long wait; but, the fact that people will stay and wait is testament to its quality. I've never had dinner/lunch there, but if the dimsum is a good indicator of quality, then it must be fantastic.
I recommend getting some jasmine tea to complement the food; it helps even out the strong flavors. The staff is pretty courteous and are pretty good about finding you the dish you want, even if you can't always remember the name.
Bring your appetite and definitley check this out!
