Description

PLEASE NOTE: IF NO "RESERVATIONS" ARE AVAILABLE AT YOUR REQUESTED TIME... WE DO ACCEPT WALK-IN TABLE SEATING IN OUR LOUNGE WHERE WE OFFER OUR FULL MENU! The Pink Door is an independently owned (nevercloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.

Date-friendly atmosphere, pleasant service, and reasonable prices. The menu had some interesting-sounding items, but nothing we ordered could be called above average.

Great Date Place
By ,
Great service, great food, and if you sit outside during the summer, it has one of the best views of the sound.

Poor Service & Bad Entertainment
By ,
We went there for a bachelorette party & they gave us a night that none of us will forget. And here is why: (1)Incredibly poor service. The Pink Door automatically charges an 18% gratuity fee for parties over 6, so the waitress didn't have to work for her tip. She forgot to bring out 1 girl's drink & she never refilled our bread unless we asked for more. (2)You need a code to enter the bathrooms...And they're still filthy. (3)Awful entertainment. None of the entertainers were professional. They just gathered the people from Pike Place that perform for free during the day and charged us a $12 entree fee to see them. And they were rude. We were chatting and one entertainer told us that she didn't come to our places of employment to talk and niether should we. Maybe if she put on a better show, we wouldn't have been talking. (4)They only thing that is decent about the place is the food. And they didn't give us very much for the price that we paid. None of the entrees came with any sides...A tv dinner would give you more food. Only 5 people ate there and we ended up with a $275 bill. (5) I didn't like that they didn't ID any of us when we ordered alcohol.

Ok but slightly overpriced
By ,
I was in Seattle for business in August and my co-workers and I were looking for somewhere to eat. We noticed the place was packed so we decided to venture in. I was told the wait would be about 1hr so we sat at the bar. We order the house wine which was definetly nothing to write home about. After about 15 minutes the hostess said she would have a table ready soon, 5 minutes later we were seated. For as packed as the place was I that she went out of her way to get us a table as quickly as possible. The food we all ordered was average especially for the price but both the waitstaff and the hostess were great so the overall experience was ok. If you really want great Italian food look somewhere else.

We can't wait to go back!

Friendly staffs, excellent food, nice music and fine wines! Reasonable price too! It's in Post Alley and since they don't have a big sign showing the name, look for the pink door! Can't wait to go back!
