Yum Yang Chinese Restaurant, North Bend

Very good chinese food. They often have coupons in the local newspaper for a free meal when you purchase one dinner. The house special wide noodles are excellent, it comes with chicken, beef and shrimp. My husband loves the orange chicken. and I also love the brown fried rice. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

eat there all the time. Consistantly good! A great little strip-mall restaurant. Colorful Koi swims in a small pond / water feature built into the foyer. A faux gate leads to a typical dining room mix of dark lacquered tables, chairs, banquet and booth seating. Friendly Chinese wait staff are quick to greet and seat you and even though a lot of Spanish chatter is coming from the kitchen they pull it off with tasty and ample offerings of American-style Chinese food at reasonable prices. I don't agree with the reviewer who equated the Safeway deli Chinese food with Yum Yang. Yum Yang is prepared fresh to order and obviously better quality than a tired deli offering.

Yum Yang’s offers the traditional Americanized Chinese menu. I found the prices reasonable and the service friendly. It’s not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, but it is about the best traditional Chinese in North Bend. The atmosphere is very relaxing with the sounds of running water in the Koi pool, woods, and Chinese style paintings and furniture. I’ve enjoyed their Orange Flavored Beef, General Tso’s Chick, and Sweet and Sour Prawns. The “I Love Teriyaki” place just down the strip center a bit is an alternative – prices there are cheaper, but there is generally less selection and no attempt at creating atmosphere. For really superior Northern Chinese food, I recommend taking the trip down the road to Issaquah and the Cascade Garden.

I've seen just about everyone in town here - so it's got to be just fine. That other reiver dosn't know what he's talking about . Nice place. Had Mu Shu Chicken the last two time. Lots of families on school nights. I'm glad it's here. NOTHING like Safeway.
