Andre's Eurasian Bistro

Description

Housed in a little strip mall in Bellevue, this casual restaurant serves a wonderful combination of Vietnamese, French and Italian cuisines. Andre Nguyen opened his first restaurant nearby in 1987, and after it burned down, he opened this one in 1996. The casual dining room is bright and open, and a gas fireplace warms the room. The spicy Shrimp and Tomato Linguine is good, as is the spicy Hai Phong Chicken. There are also a variety of vegetarian dishes. Order beer or wine, or bring your own liquor.

Bellevue Favorite!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/9/06
We live in Bellevue and this is our consistent "go-to" restaurant whenever we want a nice meal out. I've never had anything from their menu that was not great. My favorites are the ginger lemonade, cream of 5 onion soup, and the Eurasian Pork. For dessert, we love the gallete pie, but have sampled all of their desserts and can vouch for all of them. There is never a wait and the service is friendly and prompt. It's a place we love introducing people to.

Yummy Asian fusion restaurant
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/31/05
Andre's is one of my favorite Asian restaurants in Seattle. It has a mix of Asian cusines, fusing Vietnamese, Indian, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese to create some unique and really tasty dishes. It's great for lunch, and has a nice enough atmosphere that we've taken customers there for lunch. It's also fairly quiet at dinner time. The banana bread pudding with ginger sauce is amazing. The honey-lemon ice tea is also very good. Service varies based on the staff, but is usually pretty attentive. Parking is plentiful. You don't need a reservation but if you have a large group, or want to be sure to get a seat, it's a good idea. PROS: very unique cuisine, high quality CONS: in a strip mall

We've been going for years
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/12/05
We love Andre's. The food is consistently excellent, even after the change in ownership. Menu items are creative, but never over the top. I particularly recommend the ginger lemonade and Miss Saigon's favorite. For dessert, try the banana/ice cream and the coffee is great too. Enjoy!
