Best Wok, Bellevue

We just discovered this great little restaurant after driving by it for years and years on a daily basis. The interior decor is simple but pleasant with fish tanks and mirrors tastefully used to give it a larger impression than it really is. We went for lunch, the prices were quite reasonable, the food was standard Chinese fare but better than most. The Chicken with Mushrooms and Snow Peas was delightful, very light and pleasant tasting, although mushrooms were not heavily featured, other veggies made up for the difference. Fried rice just had a light smattering of vegetables and was perfect in taste and texture. None of the greasy heaviness that is sometimes found in cheaper Chinese eateries. Service was very attentive and polite, the place was clean, no overpowering smells, pleasant, inobtrusive background music. I will definitely go again, and would highly recommend it for an enjoyable meal.

Best Wok is aptly named. I stumbled on this restaurant when working in Bellevue and soon my colleagues and brothers (from Seattle!) were meeting me there regularly for lunch. I could go on about the cleanliness of the restaurant and how reasonably priced everything is, but the food and service are phenomenal! Everything is consistently noticeably more fresh than the competition. Dennis, Keith, and staff are fun and courteous. Service, even during the lunch hour is prompt. My office moved to Issaquah but I still make it a point to visit Best Wok when I can. If you're in the area give the chicken and shrimp lunch combo a taste!

Ok, I dont know who placed that bad comment.... This is by far one of the best Chinese Restaurants I have ever been to. I frequent Best Wok at least once a week, and it has always been very good and very fast. They will even stay open late for you!!! I lived in San Francisco for a better part of my life, so I know good food when I eat it!
