Good food. Friendly staff. They need to open a restaurant in Watertown NY and show them what Mexican food REALLY is!

El Caporal is just average

The most recent time I went to El Caporal, my Corona was warm and the chips were a bit stale. The food is ok, there are better and worse in Bend.

My Favorite Mexican restaurant in town

Though the atmosphere isn't much, I love the service. And the food doesn't have that 'just microwaved' taste that seems to permiate most Mexican restaurants in the Northwest. For a town with generally LOUSY food, this is one of the few places that I KNOW I can get a great meal, with GREAT service and a good price.
