Adobe Resort - Oregon
The Adobe Restaurant is part of a resort that is situated in the quiet village of Yachats, located on the central Oregon Coast. A two tiered dining room allows for a view of awe inspiring sunsets and torrential storms sitting just 50 feet from the Pacific Ocean s edge. Our restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and appetizers in our lounge. We have a wide variety of cuisines to choose from on our menu, with nightly specials of fresh fish and hand-cut steaks.
If you want a view of the ocean this is the place to stay! We had a room on the first floor with a fireplace and walk out patio to the beach. Our room was roomy for my husband, myself and 2 teenagers. It was totally peaceful to sit on the benches while watching the sunset and waves crashing on the rocks. The rocky beach was a great place for the boys to explore and photograph. We even saw a huge starfish right up close in the water. Easy to find, friendly staff and good dining.Would have loved to stay more than one night! Perhaps next time. This was just what we wanted and more than we expected!
We were on the coast for a last minute get away, and had no idea where we were going to stay. Lots of No Vacancy on a Summer Friday, and checked the Adobe with little hope. They had just a couple of rooms, and although it was a little more than we expected to pay, took it anyway. WOW!! Have stayed in lots more expensive rooms, and been disappointed. Super super clean, including the hot tub, thick fluffy towels, great views, (3rd floor corner room) excellent service, and much better than average food for a resort, with great prices. Watched the whales migrate from our window, heard the roar of the ocean - doesn't get closer to the beach, and so clean and friendly. Were sorry to leave, and can't wait to come back!
The Adobe has an incredible view from almost every room. The hotel sits right on the beach and is within a short walk to the main part of Yachats. We stayed in a jacuzzi room on the third floor. It was very clean and comfortable. The size of the room was impressive.
A huge storm was raging out side. The best moment was when we sat in the jacuzzi with a view of the ocean and fireplace. It made for a very romantic stay. It was hard to leave. The restaurant is fairly decent. The room was a bit pricey to stay for any length of time but they do have off-season rates and specials. We will definately stay there again.
