there was an assault that took place at the safeway gas station.. i called on 9-14-08 to see about getting a copy of the video or even some snapshots for legal purposes from the assistant mgr.. i called back everyday until 9-19-08 when i finally recieved a call back from him.. he said he was waiting for some information. then on 9-25-08 i still had not heard from anyone. this poses a serious problem due to the fact that there are legal issues and safety issues here and we are at a point where nothing else can be done to secure the safety of the assaulted person until we have proof of what happened...the manner in which this incident has been handled is the worst i have ever seen.maybe with this information, the management at this location will better be able to handle any furtheincidents or know how to fix the problem so if there is a next time they will have people in a position that know how to do their job.
these people are the worst.... the service is bad and the time it takes to get what you need- you might as well break your arm, go to the emergancy room, get tested for HIV have a CAT scan, Leave catch a flight to cali roll in the sand, go to spain and have a glass of wine, come back and mabey- just mabey they wont be pricks and have all of their ticks worked out. Purchased an item, new phone # did not appear on their computer. Tried to give it to checker and was told to fill out a form. Asked if I could do it online and she said I could. Now I can't find the place where I can give them my new phone number. Am trying this post to see if anyone at Safeway really reads these reviews. If they do, they will email me and I can provide my new number to update their computer.
I shop there rather frequently for the convenience. I have been very disappointed with quit a bit of the service that I have received there. My first bad encounter was the costumer service counter I asked them if they would be willing to hold an item they had on sale for me for 24 hours they said they would do that for me then when I came back to get it less the 24 hours later they had already sold it I was very upset but left quietly. The next couple of experiences were from the deli counter. Many times when I went to get a fountain drink they would make me pay for it there and then go to the register to pay for any other thing that I wanted to purchase. They treated us as though we would steal the $1 drink That is very insulting. Then my last encounter with the deli was when I was going to buy some potaoe salad and cheese for a BBQ near there I left my 8 week old daughter with my sister for the 5 minute trip to the store I was purchasing my things at the deli counter so that I could not steal the soda. The lady behind the counter rang my thing up then said that her register would not read my debit card and she did not know how to back the items off and she made my wait 27 minute so they could figure it out. They would not give my card back so I could leave and when I got back home my baby had been crying for 20 minutes. That was the worst costumer service I have ever received. I work in the costumer service industry and this store is unacceptable.
