The Coach House, Coos Bay

Definitely a great place to eat, which may be why it is so crowded. The food is wonderful, but the tables are crowded in so close together the waitresses can barely squeeze between tables to deliver food etc. Not a good place for a private conversation, that is for sure! Ribs are awesome! Very pleasant staff.

For one, I know a lot of people that have worked here, and it's for sure one of the best places, not only to eat, but work at! The owners definately have a taste for some of the best foods possible, not only an eye for decor. If you're going to visit Coos Bay, this is one place you have to go to! It's not a secret, so be sure to make a reservation before dining... a bonus, because then the wait isn't as long! One simple recommendation, try the chicken wings or the ribs... they are SO good!

The best thing about this restraunt is the patio seating, perfect for reservations for large groups. Very secluded with an abundance of plants and a fountain pond containing koy fish. Atmosphere is great. Menu contains mostly chinese food and some good american dishes such as burgers and steaks. HOWEVER, the menu is limited, and the items don't seem to change over time. It could get old after a few visits. Items are affordable and fairly reasonably priced for the amount of food offered, though i think the portions could be larger. Restraunt is near, but not centrally located. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restraunt also has a tavern on the other side of the building. The bathrooms are small and not well-lit. Overall, I liked it, but will not go on a regular basis.

Read all the reviews on the COACH HOUSE. Now, here's the real info on it. In fact just ate there a couple nites ago. Had the Prime Rib and BBQ ribs. The portions are large enough so we share. We know the owners and they both always greet us along with the rest of their customers. NOTE: They haven't served chinese in a long time. We have been going there for over 10 years. Come to Coos Bay and enjoy this neat small eatery that gets it right every time as far as we old timers are concerned.

We eat in this place almost every week and I have never had a bad meal. I love their staks and the service cant be beat :0 If you want good food this is the place to be.

The food at the Coach House is awsome. It is a friendly atmosphere and family oriented. The owners are great people and always check on their customs. Make reservations and I recommend that you sit outside anytime of the year. My favorite food is the BBQ Tuna. Yum, yum!

We ordered oriental food and truly enjoyed the entire experience.
