If you are in the mood for the worst grilled salmon and tri-tip burger of you life then I recommend this place. Everything from the service to especially the food was the very worst that I have ever experienced in my whole life. I will have to go to back to the ignorant thought of judge a restaurant by its cover. AT first glance chetco looks unkept; for example, the carpet did not look vacumed for several days and I should have thought twice when their was no one else in there at 6pm during the middle of dinner hour. But since they were a restaurant on the harbor, I figured to give it a try. I asked if the salmon was wild caught and it was. I thought that since the place was on the harbor that it would be reasonibly expected that it would be a quality dinner. Oh how I was wrong. My salmon was previously frozen-you could tell this, and they didnt tell me this. It was tough, overcooked and had a little stale lemon-mrs.dash on the top to try to cover up the god awful overcooked taste of it. It didnt even have the skin on the bottom. I would have been better going to the grocery store, buying a piece of frozen salmon and throwing it on top of some coals to cook it-it probably would have tasted better. Their was a baked potato on the side with a glob of butter and sour cream on the side, nothing more and then a little cup of previously frozen mixed vegetables with butter on top. One of the pieces of brocolli was still a little frozen. Oh yes and it gets better. My other half got a tri tip burger with beans. The meat looked like the left over scrappings on the bottom of a pot that was ready to be cleaned. It was on a white bread bun, like the kind you would get a mcdonalds, and the beans were definetly nothing more than out of a can. We called and complained about the food. They said they were sorry, and nothing more. Hey...please...their are much better restaurants out there! I am not a picky person and I have never written a review, but I felt compelled to tell everyone to stay clear away from this dinning experience.
