Captain's Choice Fish House, North Bend

My Husband had the fish and chips! Said it was fresh and delicious. I had the crab melt...YUM! Each meal came with average tasting slaw. We topped it off with Rogue Dead Guy Ale! We ordered the Shrimp Cocktail for an appetizer...that particular item was not very good. Shrimp seemed mushy. Service was friendly. We would go again...

Our crew ate at Captains Choice after the Steve Prefontaine run, and the food they served was simply outstanding. Great service and nice campy coastal atmosphere with a view of the bay. The helpings were quite generous and everything was very fresh. We especially enjoyed the no batter seafood combo and also oysters on the half-shell as an appetizer. The clam chowder was great too. They offered a few local micro-brews on tap to boot.Highly recommend!

We love this restaurant, especially for lunch!! If you like oysters, this is the place to go on the Oregon coast! My wife, who doesn't care for oysters, loves the seafood platter! We also enjoy looking out over the wetlands when we can get a window booth or watching their wonderful salt water fish tank when a window booth is not available.
