Benetti's Italian Restaurant, Coos Bay

Servers were very nice, but food was extremely slow. The ‘homemade’ minestrone tasted like canned soup with parsley thrown in. The homemade Italian dressing had a burst of onion in every drop, and drowned the salad. The noodles were overcooked and limp, the sauces were bland, and the garlic bread was dripping grease. Rumored to be the best Italian on the South Coast, and that makes me cry.

food is good, above average not the best but good. service is fair, not waiters fault, just slow from the kitchen.

The best Italian on the Southern Coast..but then again, it's really the only one. Could use some updating in terms of decor, etc. Food is pretty good though. The minestrone is homemade and quite good. Service is good. but there have been a few times it's been painfully slow. I would recommend trying it..like I said, best on the coast..but certainly not the best I've had.

Arrived at Benetti's around 9:15p.m. No hostess to greet us, but one finally showed up. We were told that it would be a 5-10 Minute wait, after waiting 5-10 minutes we decided to get a drink at the bar. The bartender was very nice, knowledgeable about the area and current events. After almost completing a glass of wine (Boger Petite Syrah) (limited wine list) the hostess came to seat us. Upon entering the dining room we found it to be on the middle scale as far as size. After about 10 minutes our waiter came and greeted us. He seemed to be a bit new. For my over all opinion service seemed to be a bit slow but the small portion of lasagna was great and I would recommend stopping if you're in the mood for Italian

I live approximately 3-4 hours from Coos Bay, but I am constantly in the area on business or to visit the sites in the area. Benetti's is my top choice whenever I am in Coos Bay. Italian is my favorite type of food, and I must admit that Benetti's tastes like an upscale city joint without having all of the hassles of the big city around you. I've only had a problem once, and the staff quickly corrected it and apologized for the inconvenience. The food is excellent quality, with the cannelloni being my favorite. They always give you endless minestrone soup, which, in my opinion, is the best minestrone I've ever had. Everything tastes homemade, except for the alcohol, but we don't keep stills in our backyards, do we?

they should level the disgusting building fire the nasty workers and build an olive garden

The only thing greasier then the food is the owner and his wife.
